Amethyst Facet Rough
I attempt to accurately represent and describe cut stones and rough
as to appearance, size, origin and fully disclose any known
treatments in its description. Because you view the images on a
different monitor with different settings, color is particularly fickle
to represent, but I do my best.

This is some of the best amethyst you will find anywhere. There are several
grades of Uruguayan amethyst and "Extra Fine" is the highest grade. It is
very unusual to find any large sizes of this material. It is very saturated in
color and if you're not careful when cutting, you can come out with a dark
stone. But you'll love the finished stone when all goes according to plan.

This is really beautiful material for the money! It ranges from 7.62 ct to 20.03 ct
in size. The color is medium dark and the pieces are nicely shaped.
