Note: The rough for this stone had unusual colors.  The finished stone
appears pale blue/green/steel gray when looked at from the crown.  There
are actually two bands of blue that run parallel to the arc made by one of
the curved sides.  Green is in the center with the exception that the peak
of the pavilion is blue.  There is a splash of pink in one corner.

Note: This stone is a beautiful peach/pink color that shifts towards pink in
sunlight and towards peach in other light. This is not an unusual color for
Nigerian tourmaline.  Some people may call it brown, but it can go from

Note:  This stone is a beautiful pink/peach in sunlight and slightly
towards peach in other light. This is not an unusual color for Nigerian
Tourmaline.  This design minimizes the light coming from the a/b axis,
and results in the pink color at one end taking over almost the entire
stone.  If tilted correctly, you can still see which end is devoid of
color centers.  There is a group of bubbles and voids near one corner
of the stone which earns it the VS2 clarity rating, but overall it is a
very beautiful gem!  The pictures above were shot in a combination of
sunlight and fluorescent light.

you tilt it, you can get more or less green mingling in with the blue.

Note:  I had a real problem trying to grade this stone and come up
with a price!  It is included with most of the inclusion actually being
tiny voids in or near the center stripe.  The naked eye doesn't see most
of the smaller zoning that is so obvious in this picture.  This is another
stone I'm tempted to keep, but the wife already has a nice bicolor, so
it's up for sale.
